No, but I do have GP2X F200. I have some Mame stuff on it. The Caanoo looks to have more power with an ARM9 @ 533Mhz. Will have to take a closer look at this, thanks for sharing.

Have you written any games on it? Or played with programming it? I think that most people probably don't. I think the XGS units are the right idea, I just need to amp them up a little bit, so they are 5-10x more powerful. But, the idea of having a book, tutorials, and keeping the hardware simple enough to understand is the right idea.

Speaking on indie hand helds, I wonder if the pandora is done :) I will have to take a look, its been 4 years I think!

a few of the Pandora's have be shipped, but not all of them  ... they have moved production to Germany or are moving :? ... I have played a little with programing on the F200, but its harder than the Hydra " in my opinion "... its the right Idea, but a little to hard for beginners...

I think the first person or company to come out with a hand held and easy to learn home brew gaming platform will make a killing :D ... their are a lot of people looking for just that...

I have the Kindle Fire pre ordered " mainly because I like Kindle e-books " and hope to try some game programing on it " it uses the android OS " ...

I think that ware GPH comes up short is they spend all their time and money on hardware and very little on software... you would think that with all the systems they have built they would have a tool chain and not just a crappy little sdk ... and a book or 2 would not hurt ether ...

I'm hoping that users will be able to program on the ColecoVision CV2 ... if they can " I'M IN!!! "...

some people are starting to make some good home brew games for the DS with the "DS Game Maker" software...

to bad theirs nothing like that for the Caanoo... that's what they need to make it successful...
