I'm a bit of a newb 2 all that is fuzzy.
Does ne1 know if its possible to use Simpson's Rule to calculate a fuzzy manifold centroid? I know how to fuzzify crisp variables into FLVs and defuzzify them again but i wanna know if its possible to improve the accuracy of my theoretical fuzzy associative matrix rule base, 'cos I would like to get the most accurate logic possible. Also I've been looking up hyper complex numbers and quarternions does ne1 know any good tuts for quarternions or IK?

The point of fuzziness is that it's fuzzy Finding the centroid is finding the centroid, you can do it the easy way or by finding the actual 2D mass centroid, but bottom line is that I have played with this stuff enough to realize it all blends together and you end up with the same results most of the time anyway -- I suggest you make a VISUAL tool, so you can see what's going on. As far as a quat book, if you are very mathematical (a degree in in preferable) then I suggest my favorite text:
"Quaternions and rotation sequences"
